IRELAND beat the Netherlands by six wickets in Pretoria overnight to clinch a second consecutive appearance at the World Cup. The Dutch were all out for 222 at LC de Villiers Oval and captain William Porterfield made 78 and Eoin Morgan 76 as the Irish reached 4-226 with 5.3 overs to spare.

Afghanistan reached 218 for seven from their 50 overs thanks to an unbeaten half-century from Raees Ahmadzai and battling contributions from Mohammad Shehzad (46) and Asghar Stanikzai (47).
