Rain halts play after Tendulkar, Yuvraj fall

India were 151/3 in 24 overs when rain halted play during the second ODI against New Zealand. The match has already been reduced to 44 overs per side. Indin cricket captain Dhoni and Goutam Gambhir were on the crease when Rain frustrated Indian innings.Gambhir is battin on 28 and Dhoni on 2.

Sachin Tendulkar slipped out of the top 20 in the latest ICC ODI batting rankings issued on Saturday even as India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni continues to lead the table. Sachin, a victim of poor umpiring in the series against Sri Lanka managing scores of 5, 6 and 7 in three of the five matches he played, lost nine places to be at 21st position in the ODI charts.

Star middle-order batsman Yuvraj Singh revealed his post-century celebration in the third ODI was actually a tribute to Sachin Tendulkar who taught him how to negate Sri Lanka's mystery spinner Ajantha Mendis.
