Pakistan Name Squad For Bangladesh Tour

Pakistan have named a 16-man squad for their tour of Bangladesh which is set to begin on Saturday (March 7th), with uncapped players Ahmde Shehzad, Yasir Shah and Mohammad Aamer among the players named. The tour is taking place after Bangladesh toured last year following Australia's refusal to tour Pakistan.

Pak to tour Bangladesh despite mutiny

Pakistan's 16-day cricket tour of Bangladesh starting next weekend will go ahead despite last week's mutiny in Dhaka, when scores of senior army officers were gunned down, an official said on Monday. Bangladesh Cricket Board spokesman Jalal Ahmed told AFP the Pakistani team would arrive in Dhaka on March seven as planned.

Shakib Al Hasan has confirmed his consistently impressive performances by heading the ICC's ODI allrounder rankings, the first time any Bangladesh has topped any ICC rankings. His performances in the home tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, took him to 380 rating points, helping him surge past last week's top two, New Zealand's Jacob Oram (368 points) and England's Andrew Flintoff (366).
